Blueberry fest SUCKS...at least we we're not impressed. Maybe I just have too high of expectations for festivals...I dunno. It was all about food…not blueberries either. There were a couple “blueberry” vendors, but it was mostly made up of fair food vendors…except there were no fried dough/gelato ones (just a little sour about it still ;) I also thought there would be more for the kids to do, but mine were more interested in walking down the pier to the light house.Overall, our week in South Haven was FaNtAsTiC. We had a couple shitty days, but a couple great ones too. Marc and I played tennis for a few hours outside on Wednesday night. The kids entertained themselves so well that we rewarded them with special treats after. I am becoming REALLY addicted and the better I get the bigger my temper becomes. It will take a LOT to bring me down to Marc’s level, but I am getting a little too close. We played with Blake for probably an hour, it’s amazing how much better he has gotten in the last year. He gave us some ripppage a few times.
We finished up league bowling last night…the season went by too fast. I LOVE BOWLING…well runk bowling anyways. I have to admit that it probably wasn’t my favorite season (Marc just didn’t seem to want to be there most nights) but I still had a great time most of the time. There were a few good moments…Mike’s towel will FOREVER be tainted ;) I did end up getting my highest score ever this summer…140. Unfortunately, I am very consistent at being inconsistent, I think even with that game I only ended up with a little over 300 for all three games that night. Oh well…I would rather suck at bowling than be awesome…I just can’t bring myself to be that geeky, there is only room for one those in our household and Marc already bares the title…too well ;)
